I was invited to make an artistic intervention for the exhibition celebrating the life and work of Soledad Acosta de Samper. A colombian writer from the 19th century.

"Voices and Silences. Soledad Acosta de Samper 100 years" features manuscripts, books and newspapers written and edited by the author as part of the collections of the National Library, immersed in artistic interventions Leyla Cárdenas and Camilo Sanabria. The exhibition presents a retrospective over the different areas of writing and intellectual interests that explored Soledad Acosta. Problematics as gender and nation are present in her literary production; which consists of 21 novels, 48 short stories and four plays. Other areas of focus of the exhibition are journalism, history and the private spaces of Acosta de Samper.
Exhibition is open until March 2014 - Biblioteca Nacional de Colombia.
